Vegan Peppermint Milkshake

A thick, creamy vegan peppermint milkshake for the holiday season! Vegan vanilla ice cream, non dairy milk, peppermint extract, crushed candy canes and grated chocolate with vegan whipped cream and a cherry on top.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups vegan vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup non-dairy milk
  • 1/3 cup grated chocolate, about 3/4 bar
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 6 candy canes
  • vegan whipped cream, topping
  • cherries, garnish
  • plant-based red food coloring, optional

Instructions

  1. Break apart each candy cane into a few pieces and place in a blender. Pulse until broken into small pieces.
  2. Add non dairy milk, grated chocolate, vegan ice cream and peppermint extract. Pulse until mixed well. If using food coloring, add a few drops and pulse together again. Repeat until shake is light pink.
  3. Pour into 3 cups and top with vegan whipped cream. Add a candy cane and a cherry to each for garnish.
