Ingredients you will need

  • Non-Dairy Vanilla Ice Cream
  • Almond Milk - Any non-dairy milk works.
  • Mint Extract
  • Natural Green Food Coloring - Optional for color.
  • Vegan Whipped Cream - Sprouts has an Oat milk whipped topping.
  • Dairy-Free Chocolate Bar - Optional for chocolate shavings.
  • Vegan Maraschino Cherry - For garnish if you desire.

Tips

  • If you can't find mint extract, feel free to use peppermint extract. Use half what the recipe calls for and add to taste. Peppermint is stronger than mint.
  • Let the ice cream thaw for 15 minutes so it's easier to measure.
  • If you don't have a chocolate grater, you can use a cheese grater.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups non-dairy vanilla ice cream
  • 2 cups almond milk or any non-dairy milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon mint extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon natural green food coloring (optional)
  • vegan whipped cream
  • dairy-free chocolate bar for chocolate shavings (optional)
  • vegan maraschino cherry (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the non-dairy vanilla ice cream, almond milk, mint extract, and green food coloring.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy, adding more milk if needed to reach your desired consistency.
  3. Taste and adjust the mint flavor if necessary by adding more extract.
  4. Use a chocolate grater to make chocolate shavings.
  5. Pour the shake into glasses and top with vegan whipped cream, dairy-free chocolate shavings and a maraschino cherry if desired.
